Athens This Weekend: March 1 - 3

Another weekend is upon us, and what a perfect opportunity it is to bring your family to Athens, GA! With unbeatable clothing sales, exciting kids expo's and thrilling UGA Basketball from both Men's and Women's teams, we're certain your family will stay happy and entertained this weekend in the Classic City! What are you waiting for? Come see us!



Get ready for spring formal and prom season! This amazing AdDRESS a Need Clothing Sale and Benefit event features wall-to-wall new and gently used dresses, shoes, jewelry and purses for only $20 - $150 each! Presented by Friends of Advantage, all proceeds benefit Athens Behavioral Health Systems. The event will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A $5 donation is suggested, and all proceeds are to benefit the Advantage Behavioral Health Systems. 



The Athens Kids Expo is the perfect event for families and children, featuring magic shows, petting zoos and prizes galore! Kids will even have the opportunity to meet UGA football players, Mr. Clown, The Cat in the Hat and superheros and princesses! The Expo will be held this Saturday at the Classic Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per person or $20 for a Family Pass of five. (Children under 2 are free!)




It's an SEC matchup weekend for both the Men's and Women's Basketball teams. The Men square off against Tennessee on Saturday at 1:45 p.m., and the Women take on Vandy for Senior Day on Sunday, with  lots of prizes for fans.

The #13 ranked UGA Women's Basketball team will square off against SEC rival, Vanderbilt, for Senior Night this Sunday at Stegeman Coliseum. Arrive early for a chance to win free student t-shirts, fan car decals and even Georgia-themed superhero capes for children! The Women's game begins at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, and admission is $5 for adults and $3 for youths. Students and faculty get in free with valid UGA I.D.
