Wake-n-Bake--with Beer.

Last week Terrapin Beer Company held its annual Wake-n-Bake competition with great success.

What better to pair local beer with than local desserts?

This year’s prize went to Dean for his creative and delicious array of Wake-n-Bake Oatmeal Imperial Stout Dark Chocolate Coconut Dessert Bars.

If you haven't yet made it to the Terrapin Company for a full tour, complete with samples, be sure to check it out.

In the meantime, enjoy a sneak peak.

Anyone who hasn't been to a Terrapin Brewery tour, you absolutely must go!

I hear they have some really good seasonals right now too, which you can usually only get at the brewery since they make such small batches.

Monastic brewers called beer "liquid bread," while the legendary French baker, Lionel Poilâne reportedly refers to his bread as "solid beer." beer labeled "liquid bread"It's not a case of culinary confusion, just the mixture of human history through eating and drinking.

John, I love that comment, and that Terrapin fully comprehends this quite well!
